Color is the spice of life

Sorry for the long delay in an update, but things have been a little hectic in the Wanzenberg house, or should I say houses!  Only 16 days until the big move, but who's counting (except me)?  So there  have been a lot of updates, especially with colors and outside.  So here they are:

...the mice will work so hard!!!  I was starting to get a little discouraged about the timing of things.  The weather has not been very cooperative since we began this endeavor, however...this is what has been done since we've been gone (and now returned home).

Now for the fun changes, and things that we can see everyday! The kids were super excited to see their new showers today!

Now the fun begins!

So the drywall is almost done, including the basement, and is getting primed.  The stone and copper are being installed outside in the 90+ weather (that feels like 110).  And we are beginning to pack and purchase furniture.  I guess there is no turning back now, not that we would want to.

Big Changes!!

So we leave for a few days, when nothing is happening (that we can really see).  And when we get back, things just fly along!!!  In the last week, we've got a completed exterior to the garage, fireplace, insulation (or installation, as Will called it), and now drywall!!!  Hope all the plumbing and electrical are right!

The stairs to the garage apartment went in this week.  It is such a cute space...so many options!!

And they started trimming the outside of the garage!

We can't wait to see how much they get done next week while we are gone!
